For those that have two Etsy stores....

how is that working out for you? I have joined Etsy with two names. One I planned to use for my everyday type of crafts and the other for children's items that I make. With all the talk about promote, promote, promote, I am wondering how you keep manage to keep both stores in the spotlight. I am having a hard enough time trying to keep this one being noticed, do you go to the forums using both store IDs or do you just promote one store and hope the other one will get noticed on it's own? I'll be really interested in hearing your answers to this one.

I don't have two stores, but I guess if I did, I would promote items from either store if they fit in the threads. I wouldn't see any reason not to promote both.
But like you said, it's tough enough getting one shop noticed, so unless I was selling supplies, I don't think I'd consider opening a 2nd shop. I would just sell everything in one.
