How often do you visit your Dentist?

I do it every six months. I really have to do it because I have gum problems and I must save my teeth. I used to ignore my visit to the dentist and this really gave me a big problem. I now have to spend a lot to save my teeth.

before I switched dentists very recently, i would rarely go. i didn't like the dentist, my teeth would be in so much more pain than they were going in. i recently got a new dentist and i now go every 6 months to see her. i also have very soft teeth so they are prone to cavities and ive had that my whole life which is another reason i have to go every 6 months.

fortunately i dont have to!! i am maintining my denture myself!!

I have what I call a dentist phobia. I was never one to go every six months but you can bet I am teaching my grandchildren to do better. Sad but true.

I go to the Dentist once a year, sometime during the summer. I know that you are supposed to go every 6 months, but oh well. ;)

Hi Dong! Well, I visit my dentist, who happened to be my cousin, every six months. That's a habit already, which seems like there's an alarm that reminds me that I have to go and visit her. It's good to know that your kids aren't afraid of the dentist because when I was still a kid, I used to make alibis just to skip visiting her. Sadly, my alibis didn't work.

With this post, you reminded me that I need to go to the dentist. I have not gone to my dentist for one and a half years already. I plan to go to my dentist this holiday break so that I could have my false teeth and by the new year, I will have new set of teeth.

When I was a child, I always got to dentist once a year due to my teeth were very unhealthy, under a school health program. A lot of my friends seldom visit dentist under that program because their teeth are good. That program lasted until high school. After that, I have seldom visit the dentist. The last time I visited a dentist was two years back. I think my teeth are still healthy now. These days I visit dentist just to get my teeth clean.

i am terrified of the dentist as i had a bad experience there when i was young but i try and go the recommeded once every 3 months. though i have been quite regular recently as i need to have my bottom wisdom teeth removed. i have to have it done in the hospital and i am scared lol. i also have to have a tooth that is in the roof of my mouth removed! happy mylotting

Um... as far as I can remember, I've been to our dentist four times. Pretty pathetic, I know! The first time was when I had a teeth pulled out and after that, I swore off going to the dentist for tooth extraction. MAN - the pain - I don't ever want to go through that again! The other two times were for cleaning just because my sister was getting her teeth cleaned too. And the last time was when I was thinking of getting braces (safe to say that I decided not to get them). Obviously, I do not like going to the dentist unless I really have to. I'm glad nothing like that has come up yet. So, good for you! Complements on you and your kids' for keeping up with the dentist-visits! :D

I usually visit my dentist every few months. I am actually a bit happy that I have found a new dentist because the last one wasn't that good. Now I am sticking to this one and I actually like it. I have even lost most of my fear from dentists. (Might sound funny but I was afraid of dentists for the last 15 or more years because of my bad experience with all those dentists.)
