Can Something Beat The Internet?

i think nothing can beat internet . only there can be newer version of it but what it would be i have no idea. all we need is high speed . i can satisfy with 1 gigabyte per second. but for that we need some really high class computers.

Yes.. it is coming.. The big brother of internet.. Grid computing... it saying that it will be more 100 time faster than the nowadays internet. It is giving the speed of 1 GBPS... hooo... that means we can download one movie in one or two second... Hopefully we can wait for GRID

I thinl the biggest invention that can be done is simply to grow the technology in the name of "internet" but i do not believe that it can completely be killed and something new created, we've seen tyhings like web2 coming to the internet world, thats the kind invention that most scintists i think they would work on to improve the use of internet Again creation of new software might come to the world of internet to improve the use of internet, but i do not believe that internet could die and new invention be created, the only change would be to improve the internet

How about standardized plumbing? Everybody over looks the invention of running water. That has got to be the biggest thing! Even bigger than sliced bread!
