If you have family night in your home, what types of things do you do on family nights? What are things that are not allowed - for example no answering phones during family time, etc... Thanks for your input.

I wish we still had family nights. It's been so long and everybody is always doing their own thing that we don't have time for these. When I was younger, our family nights consisted of watching movies or playing some kind of game (be it board games or video games). It was amusing because everyone got so rowdy during those times, even my parents.

Family night at our house is usually board games. The only thng that is not allowed is cheating! LOL We never have the TV on on family night. It isn't really a rule just something we never did. It's to distracting. You have to have full concentraion on the game you're playing around here! We have a couple of cheaters in our midst! We do have a movie night occasionally, if there is a new movie out that we want to see but we're not much into TV.
