Is reading Newspaper daily a habit for you?

No! I stay away from the news. I have severe depression and the news just brings me down further. I rarely hear the news except on FOX or CNN. Nice to have the internet where I can check it at my convenience and not first thing in the morning!

Nope no paper I watch it mostly on tv

I usually read the horoscope part of the newspaper then I would scan on the news headline for me to have an idea on what is going on in my country and what are the global concerns arising.

i dont think reading newspapers so boring stuff everyday somethings happends car accident, plane and all those market comes up market goes down they are some similar everyday happening things so we cant change it like somewhere storm comes or something happends its natural two-headed turtle we dont get it live even in news its not live so there's no use i think.

I am a lazy bum. I did subscribe to daily newspaper but I did not read it. The newspaper is actually use for claim free movie tickets which I need to cut the coupons everyday.

Hi vimaal I don't read the paper, it always has bad news. I'll watch the news when I need to, everything is so despressing. I hardly have time to read the post on mylot and this I would consider a habit.

It's certainly a habit for me, and I find it more enjoyable to digest the offerings in the various sections of my daily paper, rather than having to depend on the choice of some unseen producer working in television or radio. Yes the internet has produced another source of news, but habit is something we do almost without thinking about it, so I read my newspaper in the morning while sitting at the dining table having breakfast. The strange thing in terms of news coverage over the years, is that both TV and radio tend to spend some time, every morning, telling us what's in the newspapers....almost as if they're afraid that we're incapable of reading for ourselves. Other thing about a newspaper is that we tend to choose one that fits our outlook or political leaning, something which is discouraged in the broadcast media. As for those who get all their news from the internet, the big question is....do you go to the newspaper online pages or those run by the big broadcasting companies? We had quite a joke here in the UK this week, because our national broadcaster decied to send nearly two hundred journalists to the States to cover their election, and of course we all watched CNN or one of the other American top stations, for their coverage.

I read the newspaper everyday when I get to work. I like to know what's going on around the world, and unfortunately there is just too much horrible news out there. But it's good to know and read what's happening in the world

I like to read the newspaper but its not a daily habit for me.I don't belong to a subscription and i don't buy it.My aunt lives across the street and she gets it delivered daily so if i want to read it i will just get it when she is finished.I watch the daily news on T.V. though.

No it's not a habit for me. I usually read them from internet. Because I don't have so much time to read newspapers every day. And I get what I need from the internet faster .

its not a habit for me . but i daily read newspaper. i only read headings of news because from heading only you get what the rest would be. mostly i like the puzzles and jokes. news channels are also one of the reason that i don't have to read them in details. when you can get all news from new channels on the same day then why read one day latter.

I read the newspaper online every day and when I go outside then I buy an actual newspaper to read.
