Christmas Shopping Online Where there's Layaway!

Yes you heard me right. There is a program that is now out there that you can actually do your shopping online and put it on layaway!! So you can pay a little at a time!
It's called www.elayaway.com
I wish all stores would come back with layaway because it reduced the way we use credit cards today and a way we can buy things using cash. Although i must say that Kmart has come back with layaway. But i do believe more people actually buy items online more than they use too.
So I though i would let everyone here know about it.

That's too cool. I've never heard of layaway online. I think Kmart made a very smart move offering layaway again, especially with the way the economy has been. A lot of people just don't have a large amount of cash all at once to just buy things off the shelf. I was very disappointed in Walmart for doing away with theirs. I guess it's money before customer service. I'm going to check out that site. Thanks for the post.

I too never heard of layaway online. But my husband actually heard it on the radio. And when he told me I really though he was joking. But to my amazement it was true.
I too was very disappointed when Walmart stopped doing theres. I think once they started the Walmart Credit Card they figured why not have people get the Credit Card and get there product now rather than dealing with and paying for more employees doing Layaway.
And walmart is really big on Money before Customers!

Thanks for sharing the link. I think it is a pretty neat website and service.
I, however, am going to stick to my old fashion way. I have been setting a little bit of money aside each month. I have also been buying a few Christmas presents as a I go along and store the inside our house. That way, I don’t have to worry about making payments and so forth.

That's what I usually do is buy a little bit all thru the year. It's one way not to make a dent in your pocket all at once too.

Is there anything you can't do online these days? If I went that route I would have to be 100% sure I was getting exactly what I wanted after putting that much time and money into it.

I completely agree with you. Since that layaway you can actually do it all year long. So I think i would purchase something small at first to see how it really works. Than once I did and I actually liked it I could definately see myself making more online purchases that way.
