My Aunt had made an oriently salad one time and I can't get the recipe from her she said she doesnt remember it, whether or not she does I don't know, but I know it was Romaine lettuce, oriently ramen noodles, almonds and I don't know the dressing, it was sweet and kind of red I think. Any one have any Idea or know of any good ones?

My family likes to call this "Crunchy Salad" and you have the major parts down. The dressing is really easy, you can mix the "Oriental Soup Mix" that comes with those "Oriental Ramen" with 1 cup oil (vegetable is fine, but olive is better), 1/2 cup vinegar, and 2 or 3 tbsp soy sauce. It's even better with a 1/4 tsp of sesame oil. Of course that makes a lot of dressing, and if it's too sour you can add some sugar to it (up to 1/2 cup).

My husband didnt want to try it since he never liked bread salads... but liked this one ;) This salad is called fetush.
Take pita bread and rip it into pieces on a baking sheet sprinkle olive oil on the pieces, with some black pepper and dried oregano. Mix and rub the bread with it all till you think it is evenly covered.
Pop in the oven until they turn a golden brown.
Now the salad =) Cut up some romaine lettuce, tomatoes, feta cheese, black (or green depending what you like) olives, cucumbers, bell peppers (green is typical but i use red or orange for color), onions (red is preferred)and parsley.
In a bowl mix in lemon juice, olive oil, salt, sumac (if available - it is found in middle eastern stores it has a nice fuity taste to it).
Pour it over the salad and mix well. I didnt put any measurements because each person has their personal taste.
Top the salad with the toasted bread when you are about to serve or eat. Why not mix it in? The bread will got soggy, soggy bread is not tastey!
