I was reflecting and remembering the people who i know and have known in my lifetime. Some though sadly not around anymore and many who i've lost touch with. Determined now that i should sit down now and start making the list, it's turning out to be a pretty long one and seems to be never ending. Family and relatives both near and far, friends, neighbours, colleagues, proffesional advisors, consultants and so on. And this is without the aquaintances or the people i have met just once. The only time we seem to make this list is on occassions or social get togethers. But even then it seems to be partial or incomplete. Have you ever tried to make out a list like this ?

Hi alokn99! I have never done this, but thank you for reminding me how important something like this can be. I can't even remember all the names of my relatives to be honest, especially kids of my second cousins and things like that. Maybe one day I will at least try! I kind of wish I had started something like this 20 years ago and then just added to it as I went along.

It never occurred to me either before last evening. It does get difficult to prepare a list especially going back in time. Thanks

Yes i have. when my friend offer me MLM business, they told me to write my dream and make a list at least 100 people that i knew. Believe me, i'm not doing that thing again. But last month on holyday [in my country] my family want to know each other [grandparent-grandchild-causin-aunt-etc] and ask me to make a list of my whole family, so i do that using microsoft access now. it's easy looking up my family database. hehhehe....

Well you atleast gave it a start because you were asked to. Makes things a lot simpler in ways does it not ?

Hello there, i never made any list of the people i know eversince. That's why know people who are on my messenger list are the people who will keep in touch on me when im online. Because of no list of them, i lost contacts with them, i didn't know their whereabouts and how are they. Keep posting.

No I haven't. I even haven't got such a plan. It's just funny :D. I would even never do it. Because it will come so big and it's almost impossible to remember everything.

It's funny in a way. No doubt it may seem impossible, but could be fun trying it out.

Wow that is great when you write them down like thst thet become so real. You can go back to the time you first met them, and what they looked like just by writing them down im so happy that you are taking time to do that now that is love.

I have never actually done this before, no. The very thought of even trying to come up with one today is actually quite daunting to be honest! It is one of those things that would have been a heck of a lot easier if I had of started one a long time ago and just added to it as I went along I think. I do see how it could be of benefit though and you may just end up rediscovering someone that you had not thought about in years.

It's daunting no doubt James. Rediscovering someone or maybe yourself maybe ? It can be intriguing and it sure can bring back a lot of memories as well most of them fond ones i'm sure.

I have never thought of making a list like this. But thinking of it now I wonder how long the list would be if we have to make a list of poeple we have known from our school days. How long has your list become?

The list can be very long indeed . And mine presenlty with just friends and family has already crossed the 150 mark in a matter of hours. I'm sure it's going to get longer. Thanks

If I have to make a list I am sure it would go much beyond 200 because I have my biological parents and brothers and sisters and their extended families and then my uncle and aunt who adopted me with their kids and the kids extended families all of whom I am still in touch with. And they all have very big families. Now I have thought of seriously making a list and seeing how big the list turns out to be.

No, I have not ever made a list of all the people I know. I never have had this kind of idea. Your post reminds that maybe I should make a list like yours, maybe it really helps us to remember the friend who we have lost connection. I will try mine.
