afraid of your own shadow........!!!!

Yes, it sometimes happen with me that if I am deep into my thoughts and specially at night, if I am walking alone, I get scared by my own shadow. When you are alone, you tend to feel a bit insecure and once you see a shadow, for a moment, you do not remain sure, if it is yours or somebody is following you. Our Shadows are our best friends, they follow us, wherever we go, they do not leave us under any circumstances. Once one of my dear friends said to me - "I'll follow you like your own shadow and I'll be with you like a shadow".

Hi It was nice to read about your experience. And you shocked too... It may happen with all of us. May be you were thinking about something at that time. i'd be scared if i couldn't see my shadow at all!.. lol.. that would be eerie.. isn't it? as for getting scared of my own shadow.. i haven't felt that way ever.. a person's shadow is such an integral part. on the contrary, when i have no shadow at all during afternoons in peak summer, i feel odd. my shadow is a part of me. ya the mingling of shadows of two people and the resultant shadow formed can be a bit scary at times, but i don't really remember if i ever got scared of that.

what about the real thing, sometimes i see myself in the mirror and say... 'ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww'

Hi Apsara yeah some times it might happen, specially if u r passing through deserted roads or deserted old graveyar in evening or nights. light really play tricks at that time, some times walking at front of u and some time moving at back Well, it happened to me, but it was not shadow, but sounds of feets n deserted and old graveyard take care

yes.i had one experience like that.while i am walking i heard some sound.when i observed i found that the sound is coming from my pocket.i am having some coins in my pocket.the sound came from the coins.

Hi Aps .....This is exactly what happens if you allow your wild imagination to work over time, after dark.....And at night,its best to shake hands with your shadow,and learn to walk around,in its company,rather than to look upon it as your enemy.....Dont you know that two is company......?... Seriously dear,next time you walk alone at night,keep your eyes not on the ground,but keep looking around you and be alert and walk as fast as you can....Keep away from dark places,stick to crowded places,and keep yor imagination underlock and key....

Haha, that's funny. But such a thing has never happened to me. I think I would really be schocked when it will happen. It has happened with sounds, that I think someone else is behind me, but I make those sounds somehow and there's nobody behing me.
