creating a website

I was told that starting a website and placing ads would create a profit..Could anyone help me on the ways to create website..Somebody tell me of a web hosting company that would be cheap and good....

Hi NewGirl, I have been using FreeHostia and found that their support crew is very friendly and prompt in responding. If you are looking for a webhost that offers free hosting service (250mb storage and 5GB monthly bandwidth). I will recommend this webhost. You may also want to try awardspace.com. I am presently looking forward to setting up a blog and forum so I have to move out of FreeHostia and find another host with high bandwithth and MySQL storage. I use co.cc for free domain registration. For as long as the domain name is not a very popular, you can register for free. It is not a top level domain (TLD) like .com or .net but co.cc is somewhat acceptable to me. My concept is very simple. To set up a website with Zero Capital. Happy MyLotting
