Vegetables of course, but more specifically, organically grown vegetables. They're tastier and more nutritious and don't have those harmful pesticides on them.
I had to prove the taste thing to myself though. I bought a bag of regular carrots and organic carrots. The regular ones were pretty tasteless and they stung my mouth after I ate a few. The organic ones were actually SWEET!!!!
It's a slow process but I'm trying to switch to more natural foods, which are more nutritious. Have you tried the Blue Corn chips instead of tortilla chips? They're VERY tasty! The natural (store bought) salsa I bought tasted so fresh!
Try it for yourself, you'll see what I mean.

Veggies and fruits are on the top of my list. I've been told that processed foods lack the nutrients that they claim to have and we don't eat a lot of red meat any longer.
Leafy green veggies seem to be the best for you and eating them raw gives you the most nutrients.
I choose to eat only organic fruit and most of our veggies are also organic. We eat free-range chicken (and even when we eat red meat, it's free-range) and fish (not farm-raised fish though).
Eggs are okay and they do have good cholesteral and carrots are very good, especially raw carrots.

Fruits and veggies are the two best. So, when you eat a meal, and you want to have seconds...take seconds of veggies or fruits instead of pastas or things like that.

Basically all types of food are healthy. They have different nutritions according to their own group. For example an ice-cream can still be considered healthy because it provides us with sugar which is useful for energy. It provides us with milk, which has calcium for the bones. From the cones we can carbohydrate, also for energy. But we can't eat a lot of it. When we eat a lot of one type of food only, it will result in nutrition imbalance. That's when we start to get many types of illness.
To me a balanced diet is most important, and try to eat in moderation. Each meal should consist of carbohydrate, protein, vitamins and a little salt for flavor and oil for body heat. That is what I think.

Vegetables of course its the best healthy food you can eat. And i love eating veggies and i also love to eat dairy foods but of course in moderation. once a month or twice a month i eat beef, chicken and pork. i love to cook chopsuey because it has a lot of veggies on it like cauliflower, winged beans, young corn, carrots, baguio beans, broccoli and i put shrimp, pork and chicken on it with a little oil for sauteeing.
