You are supposed to eat 6-8 servings of grains in a day. Each slice of bread counts as 1 serving. As long as you aren't eating an entire loaf in a day, you should be good. But you also want to stay away from white breads, as they contain bleach and don't have much nutritional value. Me, I like wheat bread, but I absolutely love Italian bread on occassion.

Hmm I don't think so. Even if it is, I feel bread is too tasty to give up :-)
