Computers that Kill You!!

I do believe that there is always two side of a coin. you should just balance your priorities in life and I think with the current technology we are able to do many good things in life. I think even thought there is a bad side of it, the good things far outweighs the bad that is why it is widely accepted as a tool to many kinds of people.

Computers could one day be the downfall of this world. Too many things are now being controlled by computers. Did you ever go into a super market and try to buy something when the electricity is off? You can't do it. The ladies in checkout don't even know what most of the prices are on different items. If we should loose our electricity over most of this nation where the computers wouldn't work it would bring everything to a screeching halt. With the computers we are putting all our eggs in one basket and that basket has a huge hole in the bottom.

it is true its one of the greatest invention. but its making us really lazy day by day.we are not doing enough physical activity due to thencomputer

Yeah, I agree. So many more people are sitting down for 6 to 7 hours straight staring into a computer screen. Some are doing business, while others are just gaming. All these computers are also draining huge amounts of energy, and we all know that lower energy=bad. All this is not just confined to PCs; game consoles are also large contributors. More and more people are just playing their games, and forgetting about the whole world around them. Yeah, computers aren't as good as you think they are on first sight.

Technology is becoming so advanced that it is used in weaponry, and in the army to kill people long range so yes computers that kill is very appropriate. Gadgets are coming out not just for computers for cell phones, cars, even something as simple as a chair are becoming over priced due to their gadgets! (a massage chair with speakers built in that has a docking station for one's iPod..! saw it in a store once!) Some of these new things are encouraging people to become lazy and simply sit longer at the computer screen. Yes i indulge in some of these gadgets but not all. I have a wireless keyboard since my back hurts if i sit at my laptop without it (the table i have is lower than the chair) but do i have a wireless mouse, camera, etc?? No because i don't feel i need them. And i don't sit for hours and hours on end. I admit time does pass by but not always. Making the habit of getting up, stretching, walking around, talking to people on the phone, going out for groceries (even if it is just for milk) makes sure that a person doesnt become a hermit living their life in seclusion.

It's true that computers have made people more lazy than every. I was having a discussion with a teacher of mine who said there are many bad effects that sitting around a computer can bring. Eyesight can turn bad, seizures have occured, even carpal tunnel. Although computers have had a great impact on life, they can be dangerous.

Every thing has two sides,for the computer it is much better than you think,it has been solving lots of problems,many devices were developed base the technology of computer,they make you life beautiful,you are in the digital life,it is very cool,all right!If you worry the hurts which was take by computer,you just use computer when you are working.Most of people still sit in front of computer because of that they enjoy it,so i think computer is not bad.If the computer disappear suddenly,i guess you will miss them!

Computer have some negative effects on your health but not as much as it can take life and kill people. I think it gives us alot of ease in using data like. Data is available to us fast, easy and securely. and alot of it can be stored and reviewed back so i think it gives us alot of positive things as compared to some negative effects

See every positive phase of object has negative phase also, computer is such a powerful source of information that we can get to know all the major updates and we can also share our thoughts..!! Because of this computer only u and me are doing mylotting today!!! happy mylotting

I agree with you because sitting too long in front of the computer can cause you several health problems. Like backaches and eyes problem. Sometimes, person who addicted to computers will also have a social problem because they never mixed with others as most of their time are devoted to the computer. Maybe this group of peoples have their own opinion on why doing this so I don't ever meant to insult them. For me the best way is to know how to divide between the time for computer world and time for the real world. Just take one simple words, Computer is a part of our life and it's not our life is part of computer. Happy MyLotting and remember to take a rest. it is a best of machine.once you use you never miss it.it will drive me crazy....the internet has become my desease of normal.it is a habitto be online for me when i am waking up .without the computer,and i dont know what to do,or how to live my life.it is the computer makes everyone get used to it.

Yes what you have said it absolutely right. Nowadays it makes many lazy including me LOL. I have reached many people in the world , even a average or a poor ppl is now able to buy a computer. Even though there is useful things can be done in computer, many use it in wrong way,Example i can say tat storing and watching unwanted movies, sitting online everyday on net, playing online games for hours etc

It is very easy to mark a point. The computer is good as well as bad. Why is it good? I do not need to tell. you know already... Why is it bad? Because, It makes you to forget the things you got to do in a day. It makes you lazy to go out and spend time with your friends and family you spend time with your computer. ( this is not all of us, some people) Also not good for many children that they keep doin things on it. Because they wonder. So, They dont learn anything. They just think how good they can be on the computer or they just chat, find match something like that. But I think, It is mostly good than being bad. We just need to spend limited time on it and should not forget the things we got to do everyday. This is what I think.

I think this is not just computer. Other technology also have bad effect for human, especially if we talk about social effect. I myself is computer and internet addicted. and often feel the way you think. but I try to balance my life. after doing my work on computer, I always going to search my family and friend to play with them. make a call just to say hello, etc. so my point is, technology is in our hand, it just about how we use them. just don't make them rule our life. :)
