Hello out there!
Does anyone have any great garage sale tips? How do I know if I have set my prices too high or too low? What do I do when someone wants to bargain with me? What kind of experiences have you had when conducting a garage sale? Thanks in advance!!

Something that I have liked was letting the customer name the price. You sell more things that way and you can earn a few bucks. My church did that and we raised a nice amount of money some people gave 5 dollars for a stuffed animal. I mean it think that's good way to get rid of things and earn some extra cash.

I think that having a customer name the price at a church garage sale is probably easier than when you are having a sale on your own. Also, in this economy, I am afraid that if you ask people to name a price, they may offer too low, and then the awkward haggling begins. But I guess that's one way to make a buck!

Ok, for garage sale when it comes to pricing, you have to put a tag on the price (maximum price you can think of) and if someone will haggle you also need to know until how much you can lower your price tag. It's a matter setting the maximum and minimum prices.
We used to do garage sales when I was still in college and often we would conduct it near the public market and we would do it as early as 4 in the morning since most of the buyers do pass by that early.
