Oilspill

NAPOCOR oilspill in Semirara, followed by MT Solar I oilspill in Guimaras, Philippines. Are there already contingency plans in place in case the same event occurs? Because as far as I know after all the forums, seminars and workshops about the event in Semirara, wasting good taxpayers money, the authorities were still caught with their pants down when Solar I sunk and caused the worst oilspill in Philippine history.

it is all about the "people" of the philippines coming together and making the oil companies responsible. too many filipinos are lazy and don't get involved in these types of things. There is no unity or drive in filipinos to fight for these types of issues. Again it is about the fundamental rights of people that is lacking in the philippines. everyone is out for themselves and their own interests. This is why america is so great. Our diversity in culture actually brings us together to find our common ground!
