I agree they should be castrated and spend the rest of their lives in prison. The laws need to change, because they always give these people a 2nd or 3rd, etc chance and the next time they hurt a child, sometimes they kill them. Where are the childrens rights? It seems the pediphiles have more rights than the children do.

I agree. The really scary part is that my husband works at a prison and he will speak to some of the inmates (no matter the crime) and he will ask them if they were free if they would commit again and a lot admit that they would. It sends shivers down my back, especially when I have 3 kids. Let’s send them all to a deserted island with no way to escape. Just keep them away from my kids, ALL kids!

I have a family member who was molested. I think that they should have the most severe punishment possible. My family member lives with this day in and day out. Why not castrate them? Maybe a bit much, but when it happens to someone you love, your view point changes a bit!

They should be put away more than four or five years that is for sure. I don't understand who a person who is convicted of fraud can serve up to several years in prison and a child molestor or rapist serve a couple of years. It truly pisses me off. Half of them swear they change but then they are moving in neigborhoods by children to only be tempted and hurt them again or rapists going after a women as soon as they are let out. Yes people can change but in these cases hardly any of them change. Put them away for life I say, they know once they are out that they more than likely will strike again.

I think jail is too good of a punishment.In some Countries if You steal they cut off Your hand HMMMMM

I agree with Christina, castration seems like a good idea. Murder is often a one off crime done in the heat of the moment or with a reason behind it, not always I know. But rapists and child molesters go on to do worse things and should not be allowed back into any community.

Well as I have been through it My attitude is they should get a lot of years as People like me have to live with it for the rest of our Lifes and it is very hard
