Missing my friend here. Do you miss your friends who stop coming here ?

I really can't relate to being on mylot and miss my friends who got busy with life outside mylot. When I was on mylot all day long, I had all my friends around with me...and I did enjoy my time here. But then I was the one who got busy with my job and couldn't mylot much. It was around the same time that another dear friend of ours couldn't log in either. Of course, I missed my friends at myLot (a few of whom I did e-mail even when I couldn't catch up with them on myLot)....but it wasn't like I was mylotting and my friend/friends weren't around. Infact, it was the other way and it was me that a few of my friends were missing in their discussions. Having said all this, I have to say that the friendhip I have with my friends go beyond myLot...and they are in my thoughts even when I am not on myLot. We do keep in touch through e-mail or messenger and know what is happening in each other's lives and we also know that the other will be there when we need them (even if we have not had contact for a while)

Hi Mimpi......I mylot mostly for the sake of spending time with my friends..there are a few who are close to me,and I keep in touch with them through mails too...But there are some others in different parts of the wolrd,with whom I vibe well and have a good rapport..I love to see them online,and miss them and feel concerned about them when I do not see them in discussions for days together...... Today I guess I know whom you are missing...I havent seen Dpk around,for the past few days..But I am used to his sudden disappearances for some official visits...He usually takes ten days,so lets wait and see..........And when he is back we will bully him for disappearing like this without a warning..........

This place is special Mimpi, absolutely no doubt about that. I'm here today only for the reasons of the special and wonderful friends. The daily interations, the humour, the stories ,the experiences its just so special. My thoughts on the subject of friendship are very much old school as well , and that is why i do not make friends that easily. So when any one of the friends is inactive for some time thier absence is felt and we do miss them. I can understand the joy you feel when some of your old friends here peep into say hello. I'm sure a lot of them will come out of hibernating just for you.

It is really great to know you care a lot about your friends and your discussion says it all. It is but natural, when we interact with our dear friends on-line and through mylot, we come closer and share our life's lot of happenings with them and if any one of them is not around, his/her absence is felt very much. We feel closely connected with each other and when a dear friend is 'missing' we just do not feel comfortable. It really proves that how emotional, kind hearted and caring you are - because you value your friends a lot. Many thanks for starting such a touching and pertinent discussion.

hi mou hope u must be doing well, its almost 15 months for me too and sure i met lot of friends here and same case. some are no more active and some are hybernating too. But one good thing that i have contact emails of few friends and get hold of them in their absence at mylot Well by ur ths discussion, its shows that FRIEND u r missing so much is NOT me, as i am still at mylot take care

Hi mim, I feel your pain. Seriously, I had a friend that I really enjoyed communicating with, actually I had two friends that just dropped out and I miss both of them a lot. I know one is busy with her family, but I have no way to reach her. I hope she pops in some day to say hi. The other one I have his email and heard from him after I emailed him. I thinkhe is really busy too. It is really sad to connect with someone and then have them gone from sight. I am truly thankful for the rest of my friends and hope they all hang around, leenie

yes i do miss my friends whom i did meet in this journey but who are no longer active due to some reasons.i will always cherish the times we spend together here in mylot.but now the times are also good as i have been making friends who are as much wonderful as my previous friends.

it is true there are few friends whom we miss too much.i also miss here some friends who were there few months back.but now they may have left. but its part of life i guess

hi mimpi dear, I am sure you are talking about our dear friend Deepak.......because I am missing him too....though I know he has been absent due to some of his personal work at home, but still we miss him as he is always active and encouraging us with his positive thoughts and suggestion. Also we are used to see his beautiful avatar of smiling innocent child face.......in fact we mylotters are now emotionally attached to all our friends and if we don't see them for some time, we naturally start missing them.....I am also happy to see you dear after long time, also mithra is now back as Rose....., I just wish all our friends will always remain in touch some way or other.......Thanks for your nice discussion.

Not really because anybody who is cherished even slightly (is that a contradiction?) knows other ways of finding me. Those who leave a link on my blog make it possible for me to find them, too. You might resemble that remark.

Hi there mimpi1911! I surely miss my friends whom I haven't seen around for quite a while now. I miss their opinions and ideas. I also miss their advices and suggestions. Moreover, I also miss the discussions they start. I hope that one day I would see them here again. It doesn't matter how long it will take them to hibernate. What is important is that I would see them here again.

In the few months that I have been on mylot I too have got close to a number of mylotters and miss them when they are not around. After all that is friendship. I too care a lot about my friends here and miss them when they are not around for more than a day.

Yeah, I do actually. Especially notable when the friend is the kind to post lots of discussions at one time and would comment on all of his/her responders. Then something would come up that they wont be able to myLot for a long time. Kinda makes me wonder what ever has happened to them. It is really nice when they do respond to a discussion that I just recently started or maybe they start at least one discussion after being absent for months.

Hi there mimpi. I also lost a few friends here that i had since i started. I guess they left as they probably had more important matters in the real life. I hope they are doing alright and that they are happy right now.

You remember I felt for a few days last year?I think that is the answer to your discussion.

Thankfully my closest friends such as yourself do not tend to disappear for too long so although I do miss the presence of people in short bursts it is not something that I have to dwell on for too long. There is one particular user that I was very active with when I first joined that does not participate anymore and I do wish he was still here. Aside from this instance I have not yet been in the position of having people I am really close to disappear for good yet and I hope I don't have to experience this anytime soon!

And surely to be frank, i am hibernating as you said, as the reasons are so simple, i have no heart to stay away from the good friends here. I had been here just few months ago and for such a short time I was able to met a lot of friends here in various locations.I had learned to love and miss them especially those whom I used to conversed with here in several posts they had made,it's been a great time for me here having a lot of friends and meet them in every posts they made.I had miss someone here,the fact that I'm wondering where is he/she now....I had been missing you also mimpi,specially during those time wherein I was not active here. lots of hugs and kisses for you take care
