Imagine your car gets stolen or something happens to it and you cant use it for a month. What would your reaction be. I cant live without cars. I have to go from places, work, gym etc. My social would be disrupted. What about you? Can you walk for hours to get to a place.

Yeah, I can live without me driving, if that's what you're saying. But if you're asking if I can live without cars or mode of transportation, then I guess it would be difficult now that we're all used to having them and have no more exercise in terms of walking long distances. But I dare not say that it's unachievable.
People can adjust sooner or later based on what situation they are in, so the loss of vehicles may hurt for a number of years but sooner or later, I know we could adjust. It's no choice.
But if it's just me. Yeah, I don't drive a car, I can go anywhere pretty well without problems. Not to mention the following disadvantages of having a vehicle:
1. Prices of gas are increasing.
2. Possibility of car-napping.
3. Vehicular accidents.
4. Laziness of walking short distances.
5. Cleaning the car.
6. Car troubles.
7. Parking space!
8. Licenses and insurances.
9. Insatiable desire to have the latest model.
10.Price.
