What's the Best thing You Ever Won? / myLot

Beautiful Water of Hawaii - The color of the water in Hawaii is unbelievable. The water is warm and looks totally different than the California coastline, which I love, but it's cold. I actaully swam in the water while it was raining there.

I have won a few things, like free movie tickets and free gas or a free dinner and I always get the feeling I'm going to win before I do. The best thing I ever won by far was a free trip to Hawaii!! No lie. I called into the radio station, (one I hardly ever listened to) and I was the tenth caller, which entered me for a chance to win the trip that day. Out of all the other callers I won!! I had that feeling too, like I knew I was going to win. I won free airfare and free accomodations in Waikiki for a week. I had just broken up with my boyfriend, so I took my mom. We had a great time of course. We went on a tour of the Pineapple factory and went and watched all different kinds of dances. There was a huge aquarium and a place like sea world. The water was so beautiful and warm. I did get sea sick on the glass bottomed boat, now I know to take dramamine. It was a great experience.

The best thing I've ever won was a Samsung WideScreen Colour TV a couple of years back, I do the odd competition on the internet. I've won quite a few DVDs as well. Congrats on your big win!

I must admit competitions do get addictive and I do spend a lot of time entering them, mainly online. I have won some modest cash prizes too but mostly DVDs the ones I don't want I use as presents or sell on Ebay!!!!

A wide screen tv is a pretty big win too!! Don't you love winning stuff, especially something big!! I am always entering contests and my most recent wins were books I won through some book contest websites.

Wow, how fortunate you are to have won a trip to Hawaii. It is my dream vacation!!! I have won a couple of raffles with low end prizes. I am still waiting to hear from some contests and drawings that I have entered from links I received as a member of Gather. It would be nice to win something.

wow, you must be really lucky! I hardly ever win anything, really. at the beginning of the semester, I won a target gift card. other than that, I've won a starbucks gift card last year at prom. a long time ago, I won a grocery gift card for my mom. nothing exciting like a trip though!

I've never been really lucky in winning things, but one time I won a radio contest and got tickets to see Clint Black in concert with Lori Morgan and Waylon Jennings...it was a GREAT concert..I also got a windbreaker jacket along with it.

Hi, I reconize you from gather. I have won a few things in my lifetime but the one that truly ment the most to me was a camera. I am from a large family. As teens, we all worked in summer to make money for school suplies and birthday gifts for our other family members. I also worked my lunch break all through high school.It was early August and I had just spent all my money on school supplies. It was nearly my sisters birthday. She was younger than me. I took a 25 cent chance on a camera off my Spanish teacher. The drawing was supposed to be that day. My sisters birthday was the next day. I won it! None of us had ever had a camera before and I really wanted one but I wrapped it up and gave it to her for her birthday. She loved it.

I love participating in contests, both online and offline. And lucky me, I keep on winning gifts, though some small stuff, not as big as you guys have won. for ex: I have won a levi's jeans, a prada t-shirt, cosmetics, movie tickets, gift vouchers, money vouchers and other small knick knacks. The only thing good about my winning is that it is consistent..:-)
