We know that going to college is expensive. That's why many student look for scholarships. And many unfortunate people cannot continue because of the expenses they would be facing.
In my case, it was my mother who financed me during college. I wouldn't have finished college if not because of her. I also have a cousin who is working already when I was in college. He also supported me during my first few years in the university.
How about you? Who's supporting you right now? Or for those who graduated already, who supported you financially during college.

my parents are supporting me through college. They help me with food costs and extra fees that I may need. My parents supported me in different ways. Like you if it wasn't for my mom I wouldn't have finished college.

My parents supported me too. They gave me anything I needed within reason. They were great when I was going through college, and since I graduated they are still kind of supporting me because I live in their home, they feed me, and sometimes they help me with expenses. They are great with allowing me to save my money while I live with them til I get married. SO I can use what I saved for a wedding or pay off a chunk of my student loans at once.

I can say you are fortunate. You don't have problems regarding money. You also have the advantage since instead of spending time to earn money, you can already start having an investment or a little business. So far, investment/business is one of the good things to do as we get older in life.

For the first year, I had a grant. For the second year, I got a couple of very small scholarships, and I worked. And basically, that's how it went. I worked full time and went to school parttime. I actually managed to support my husband through the last couple of years of his degree as well.

-yes, it is indeed an expensive one if you are to go to college. as for me, my brother is supporting my tuition fee and i know it is hard for him because he also have some children coming to kindergarten schools that are private and it costs a lot amount of money. i hope i can earn money to help myself and not to be dependent.

It is always expected for students to be dependent financially. I realized that when I was in college already. I would only call to my parents if I need something and it is usually money that I need.
On my case, I am supporting my sibling next to me in as she study in college. The other one will be entering college after this school year.

Im paying for my own college but at the moment I am using osap to get through. I dont know if the states has osap there but what it is is a government fund that gives students money depending on how much their parents make and how much they make. Not everybody gets it and some getmore then others. Were expected to pay it all back though 6 months after we graduate in installments I believe with interest on top of that. My brother went through for electrical engineering and his interest adds up to a dollar a day while his girlfriend went through for nursing and got more osap then him. Now her interest is 4 dollars a day. Luckily my school expenses are no where close to as expensive as some others considering mine is one of the cheaper courses. My parents help me out when they can do but Im expected to pay them bacck whenever I can.

You're right wrange, college really expensive and it was increase every years. well, my father is teacher in high shcool and my Mom have liltle cafe at my father's school. They cannot give me some fee for college, because i have 2 sister and my sister already in college last year [the one still in high school].
This is my fourth years in college, and i still have 1 year to finish my college so i'm doing part time job now. My manager was kind enaugh, he give me a room and let me sleep there, so i don't have to pay boarding house or dormitory.
My monthly payment was quite enough for simple life. a lot my friend doing part time job that suitable for their skill like bartender, operator, sales promotion, tutor, etc. And when i ask them, is it ok? they said it's ok, this job really nice and don't bother my study.
