is reading while lying not good for the eye?!

I don't think so. I used to always read lying down because otherwise the light shining on the page was too much. If I held the book in the air, the light was blocked mostly. I can't read great in the dark, but sometimes I am totally unable to read if it is too bright. I remember back in high school one teacher tried to make me read on a bright day outside and I couldn't even see anything on the page other than shiny whiteness that blinded me.
