I'm sure I've had several of these nights before but just can't think of a specific incident or reason. I just think it's better to resolve arguments or issues at the end of the day, if not, then just try to tell yourself that you will take care of it the next day.

Hello Daffodil. This does not often happen to me, but it has happened to me a few times when I was almost on the way to fall asleep. A turn might keep me wide awake, which is very annoying. When I cannot fall asleep, I will think about things at random, spoiling my fast-falling sleep. Then I get very frustrated for this. Yeah, a peace of mind is a great help in making us fall asleep at night. Take care, friend.

Peace of mind.Thats the big question. A friend of mine told me to concentrate on my breathing after lying on the bed and it helps. I'm going to try it out tonight. Its already half past midnight and I'm still up.

I have been so frustrated at times that I lost sleep. It was in the past when my ex made me so upset I just replayed what he said or did over and over in my head which always made me more mad at him and unable to sleep. Lately I have been able to sleep through my frustrations because I stay active during the day and make myself so tired that I need to sleep and just fall asleep at a certain time.

Its a very good idea. Getting yourself exhausted enough to be able to sleep immediately upon hitting the bed. Thanks soulist.

It doesn't happen all too often, but it does happen to me, where I lose sleep when I'm concerned about something going on in my life at that time. I tell myself to try and forget about it, and think about other things, but sometimes that is far easier said than done.
To regain my peace of mind, I have to deal with the situation(s) head on. That's the only way that works for me. Over the years I've learned not to worry too much about things that are out of my control anyways... and that too, helps.

my unforgettable frustration was earning money. i support my mother, father, sister, and two aunts--that the responsibility oftentimes irks me. i cried many times thinking of ways how to somehow alleviate the financial burden.
things started to clear up when i discovered of other earning potentials--of other options that i can use.

You have heavy shoulders and no doubt it can steal anyone's sleep. You have a real reason. Hope everything sorts out soon.

Yes on many occasions. One thing I absolutely hate and try to aviod at ALL COSTS is fights with theboyfriend before bed. It usually keeps me up most of the night thinking about what was said, what shoulda been said, what shoulda been kept to ourselves. Etc. I absolutely hate fighting with people before bed it completely ruins my sleep. Other times when I feel overwhelmed with life and have alot to do and so little to do it, that usually keeps me up with me thinking of what has to be done, how im going to go abouot it, etc.

Fights can have terrible effects. I guess its quite obvious why you can't get sleep after fighting and that too with your boyfriend.
You are younger than me but seems like you are wiser. I hope and pray that you accomplish all you want to. Lets never allow life overwhelm us. Easier said than done. I know!
