Don't know if it is because of depression, just being tired or what. I am really just not feeling up to par today. Can't really get into being on mylot, can't think of an article to write on AC, don't want to write anything on my blog. Its a nice day out btu I don't feel like going outside for any reason.
I just don't know whats wrong with me today. You ever had a day like this, wher it just seems that no matter what you just aren't feeling it?

Hi erilyn, Yes I do know exactly how you feel. I have many
days like that. But, I have clinical depression. So why do
you feel this way? Is there something bothering you in
particular. I get this way and can't explain it either, but
with me it happens far more often. I hate feeling like that
where there's not really any explaination for the feelings.
I'm sure that you will probably feel much better tomorrow.
But, if it continues you need to do something about it. Don't
let yourself be depressed for too long. That was a mistake
that I made and now I am paying the price. I took way to long
to do something about it and I let years pass. Now I am
finally trying to find out what I can do about it. Better
late then never!

Hey Opal! I do also suffer from depression, in my case it is due to a chemical imbalance, but it doesn't feel like a normal depressive episode. I can normally handle those pretty easily. I know when I am getting that way and can often combat most of the symptoms now. I have been off medication for a long time for it, becasue I learned how to level myself back out through various ways like yoga, meditation, etc. This is different somehow, like I am just blah or something I don't know.

Look into doing yoga or get some soothing sounds to you like I have ocean sounds becasue I love the water. That does help get me in a different frame of mind. I refused to be on meds the rest of my life and decided I would do what it took to get myself through it, Thats what the pirate discussion was for, something silly to help me get out of my funk!

Believe me, we all know how you feel. Sometimes I stay out of mylot for days because I can't respond to a discussion with any semi-intelligent response. I also write on Triod and E-how and have periods of mental "blanks" when I can't think of a darn thing to write. On days like that, I've found that the best thing to do is to turn off the computer and and just get out of the house. Go for a long walk in a park or beach, or woods, depending on where you live. The clean air and sunshine do wonders for a tired mind. It's refreshing, re-energizing and you might even come up with a few ideas for writing. Even though you don't feel like going outside, make yourself go. Once you are out, you'll start feeling better.

Last night I somehow got into my head it would be fun to play pirate. I even started a discussion to get others to play with me. That did help somewhat. generally when I get like this I can listen to some angry music and it gets better, Pink, Merideth Brooks etc. Last night though nothing was helping really till I started the discussion. I will get back into the groove I am sure!

I've been through a lot of days like this and sometimes I blame it to my "pregnancy hormone" hihihi! But well, the truth is that I am a deep thinker and I sometimes can't stop thinking about my life. And when my thoughts go to the depressing parts of my life, I started to get "brain-dizzy" and my thoughts seem to freeze. Like you, I can't think of anything to write on AC, have no appetite to update my blog and even snob mylot. Shucks! I guess it's a girl thing huh?

I can feel for you, sometimes I also experience the same. As if my mind is blank or I'm just not in the mood to think and to type anything.

Uh, yah. I had about two years worth of days like that! So, if you are only having one-- give yourself a break! When the days you feel like this fall into weeks and then months then start to worry. Give yourself a break and just enjoy a day of leisure. You probably deserve it.

Sometimes i feel like that too, uninspired and procrastinated. I don't want it to be my habit because i know it will put me into a bad situation. Going to my favorite networking or working sites, playing games online, i don't listen to sad songs, find something to eat or chat to a friend or play with the babies at home or simply put myself to sleep are some ways to kill my depression. Just cheer up sweetie! It will pass. Think of happy thoughts!

Thank you! I did start a fun discussion that helped somewhat, Trying to play pirates with my mylot friends lol. I listen to a lot of angry chick music when I get like this, Pink helps a lot. for some reason after singing along to a few songs it generally helps.

I just threw my arms up in celebration (not for you, of course). I have had the same feelings before too! I'm glad I'm not the only one.
It's one of those days where you don't feel like doing anything you usually enjoy doing, right? Yeah, I've had those.
I just try and take it slow, maybe get a nap in, flip through a magazine, and pass the time...
There's nothing wrong with you (I hope not, because that would mean that there's something wrong with me sometimes as well!) - these days just pop up sometimes.
I had them frequently when in high school - after the day was over, I didn't want to blog, write, or do anything really.
So...don't get depressed! You'll get back into the swing of things again very soon.
I would know.

I hope so, I think I am going to make myself a cup of coffee, force myself to clean my house (which I usually do by now) and maybe call it a day. Hopefully tomorrow I will be my normal self. I don't often have days like this usually I am just angry all day heheheh kidding. I am glad I am not alone as well though. Today is one of those days I should have stayed in bed I think!

It happens to anyone I think. Usually when it happens to me what your feeling now, I just don't force my self doing what I have to do. I just relax or do something that will change my moods. Like I can read or just listen to the radio. Music sometimes change your moods to a happy mood. Anyway take your time! Have a nice day!

Oh, I get that all the time. Not really so much today, but somewhat. I don't have school for another two days and I feel like life is moving like a snail and nothing is happening. It's amazing how much I love dealing with people who don't like me and trying to get somewhere. Your mind is just taking a break, soon you'll get something to do and something to be excited about. This kind of mood is actually very good for me to get deeply involved in a drawing. Sometimes I get impatient when drawing, but when I'm all floppy and don't feel like doing anything like that, I can just sit for hours and just do nothing and think. Use it to your advantage!
