I suggest constant practice on jumping. Jogging with a bagging around your waist or in your feet, and do a small jumps. Exercise your lower muscles. I guess that would help.

Jumping is a wise choice, and the most important is that you should practise everyday

I think Plyotemics havn't had too much of an impact on me/my friends.
i will give some experience i heard from my friend which make him a big improvement with vertical leap:
20 squats, hands on head
20 squats, hands in front
20 jumping squats
30 knee into chest jumps
running stairs with ankle weights
wall sits
tip-toe raises (while standing on them raise your whole body)
drop-jumping (start about two stairs high, fall to the ground, and as soon as you touch, jump back)
20 180 degree jumps
20 standing long jumps (bend, and jump as far as possible landing balanenced)
regular jumping
net touches
squats holding a weight plate
squats with bar behind head
ankle weights with jump rope
power rebounds
palms on ceiling
I hope it is useful and helpful to you.lol
good luck
