How to save Money?

Do you have a BPI account? They have this save-up program that automatically deducts a certain amount in your savings account. I'm already subscribed to it and it really helped me a lot because I know that my part of my salary has been already kept. ^^,

I think you would just have to control your spending habits. In the US they call that actually a spending disorder. I think the best way for you to do is to stay away from credit cards and when you go out just bring only a little amount of money to avoid impulsive buying. Impulsive buyes usually buy things they feel like buying that they dont need, they would actually feel guilty after buying. You could also try avoid going out but i think that would be hard to do, that is why it is better to just bring a little amount of money and leave any credit cards at home because it is really difficult to just stay home and do nothing. For me, since i dont have that spending habit i always carry my credit card anywhere. I dont actually use my credit card that often.

Its common to buy things that our eyes perceives as beautiful and wanting it for keeps. Oftenly than not i realise getting gifts for my friends not on special occassion too turns it into a spending spree though it makes me happy. Later, i realise i need to set goals to "Why i save my money" and i did it. Savings for a while now! Thank God!

Hi Anikakim, I think you should save half your money and use the other half for what you need and what you want. I think that way you get to save a lot of money. Also, you can figure out why you want to buy whatever you see. See, try to buy one thing only, but that thing should be very good and not expensive. Hi buddies, I want to save money in mylife further future.I want to buy all i needed but money is a value to save that one.Every one saves the money.In my future i have a planning to put a nice business if i success in that business i will save money.some money i will put in banking and some i will investment in the business.

I think what you can do is to open a bank account. After you open the bank account, give the book to someone whom you trust. The person can be your mother or your spouse. Tell them to keep the bank account book and ask them to hide it from you. Every time when you have extra cash in hand, go to the bank and deposit the money into your bank account. Do this many times and after a while I think you will be addicted to it like being here in mylot. You will keep thinking how much money will I have if I put this much of amount today into my bank account, for example. After a while, if you want to use the money for buying a house or something useful, you can always ask your mother or spouse to give you your bank account, so that you can see how much you have.

It needs a lot of effort and discipline toward yourself. Perhaps you can divert your attention to other things and see how it will impact to you. If it is successful, then you're making a progress. You can also ask some advices from a counselor or other people who are much closer to you.:-)

Everyone can really give you all the tips in saving money but in the end there's nobody to help you but you yourself. You see you need self-control first. If you cant control it then the tips wont do you any good at all. I hope this helps.

Overbuying is one of the maladies of the society now. And it is very alarming. Please, dont let yourself be drawn to overspending. Maybe you have problems that you think goes away when you spend. But you see, it just gets you frustrated after. However, the thought of saving is one step to free yourself from overbuying. I suggest you just take a little cash when you go out. Even if you have the urge to buy, what can you do if you don't have money? lol Maybe, you can trust somebody to keep your money for you.

Just send me the money, and i will give you back when needed. :D Seriously you should put them in a fixed deposit account, so, once you deposited your money, you will beable to get it back only after a pre-fixed period of time. Tipically is 6 months, 1 year, and more. The good is that you will not spend that money, and the interest that the bank will give you will be higher than in a normal saving account. happy myLotting
