What Makes You Love DH so much?

Four middle-aged women, different personalities, going through different problems everyday. I can see a bit of myself in any of the characters of DH. Regardless of age, races, believe it or not,the problems that the ladies' facing nowadays of being a married women or not, are not far off. I love this show, because it makes ME think. How about you??

I love the show desperate housewives! I can relate to each one of their situations, If i was like any of the characters on the show it would be Susan, Unfortunately lol. I don't, and never have lived in the suburbs but I can still relate to what all those women go through in the marriages and raising children. It was a shocker to me when Lynette got cancer... and I just thought how i would feel if it happened to me and how i would leave my child behind, which i know she was thinking also. Susan is a drama queen who doesn't know how to be happy. She ended up with what i thought everything she wanted and yet she still finds reasons to be un-happy... cant blame her though since Mike is popping a lot of pills and already acting like he is un happy right after they got married. I love the way this show makes a positive feeling even when the worse things are happening... the music they play in the background keeps us wondering how serious is this going to be. Honestly the only family on the show that ever really had me in tears (besides Bree's daughter going into labor} was Lanette's family and all the things that went down with her situations. I really love this show! to think I was hooked on Grey's Anatomy before i started catching up on Desperate Housewives. It's an inspiring show!!! I will keep watching!

Fantastic comment. I appreciate your opinion. That's exactly why I'm glued to the seat for DH all these whiles. Lynatte character and their family been through awfully alot. I remembered crying over quite alot of scenes as well. The ladies, they have amazing friendships, eventhough sometimes they dislike each other in certain matters, even quarelling over it, they always make up with each other in the end, kinda like sisters. Even Edie is not all that evil, remember the time when tornado strikes, and she + Gabrielle helping each other to get over the disaster. Just hard to hate anyone of them, really. ha.. so end up liking them all! A great drama for the ladies! cheers!

I like the show too. Because it gives a good picture of the life of American housives. Different housewives have different personalities and have different problems. I like the way they encourage each other. Also there are many mysteries involved which makes the story more attractive!

this is human nature thing. We are curious about the little dirty laundry in everyone's home. Although the theme of the show various from different season. One thing never changed that laundry.
