What is your favorite online computer store? I have used Amazon.com, NCIX.com and buy.com. Which online store has the best service and prices?

I always get my computer parts from newegg.com. I don't think they ship outside of the US. Luckily, though, they also have a website called newegg.ca. Their shipping is quick and reliable, their RMA policy is the best there is, and they're really cheap. I actually built this computer I'm using right now with parts from newegg.

I have heard of newegg, but I have never purchased anything from there. How much are the shipping and handling costs typically? Do they accept paypal as a payment option? I think I'll go check out the website. Thanks for the heads up Totakeke423.

I see you are in Canada. I have bought from NCIX.com FutureShop.ca BestBuy.ca and TigerDirect.ca I have not bought from Amazon.com their shipping costs seem expensive I find that the merchandise arrives in good time around three or four days usually. I find if there is a good sale the local store runs out fast and it is still in stock on line. There are also sometimes online only sales too.

Yeah, there are a few Canadians here on myLot. Some online stores have better shipping than others do. It's also important to consider purchasing from stores outside of the province or state that you reside in to avoid local takes. For me saving the cost of 8% PST is important. The good thing about shopping online at FutureShop and BestBuy is you can pick-up the order from a nearby store. I know that Staples' and OfficeDepot's online stores offer free shipping for orders over $50. No local pick-up though.

Compusa for a retail store. I usually do all my computer shopping online. Newegg is my fav. Most retail stores don't stock all the necessities for most computer geeks so I'm forced to do my shopping online.

How does Newegg compare to other online stores. Do you ever do price comparison searches?

no I will not buy the parts in online in our city we will get many things which is sufficient to us so I will not prefer to buy parts in online because it includes service charges and courier charges I don't want to spend on it.

Yeah, I understand that extra fees and shipping expenses can be cumbersome. I always comparison shop and consider shipping fees when deciding on purchases. I am also lucky to have a plethora of stores close by, so my options of quite intensive.
