I Have been reading lot of discussion that say we need 200post so that we could use smilies
, but that is not true.
i have posted just 10 discussions and im using Smiles
. I think lot of lotters have misunderstood between point and post. even for copy and paste we need 500 point not 500 post what everybody thinks and we can get points when somebody rate our discussion postive that is the + sign you see on right side of every discussion. what do you think of my discovery!!!!!!

Points? Do you mean that the number as the side our our nick is point indicator? I still not quite understand. Well, I did not realize how to use the smiley or did not even notice if the smileys are there when i below 200 posts. Maybe I have neglected that part.

no, i think they are rating indicators which are increased through number of points we get, cocooreo i think you really missed smilies part, smilies are always there even if you dont have 200 points or the rating, they only get activated or you can use it only if you have the ratings/points increased to 200, numbers next to your name. now to use copy and paste you need points to increasing your rating. i think we get points by quality of our post and when somebody rate our post or discussions positive +,

you were already able to use such smileys coz you had already reached 200 posts,in fact it's more than 200 already.you have just posted 10 discussions and in that case you had reached 200 or more thus you can already use the mylot code.you see,you have the total of 216 and that's true.Well,anyway,I get your point,we misunderstood such post and point.Well,in fact I am not really sure whats the right thing to use or how we should determine it,whether it is a post or a point.

hi Bestie, i think that the numbers in the bracket next to our name represents point and not how much we have posted or number of post, because if you count how much you have posted, there are chaces that number of post may either more or less than the numbers in the bracket.

I think perhaps a lot of people already knew that is what was meant by reaching 200... but there most likely are people that did not know and find that useful ;)
The +/- as far as i can tell increases or reduces your rating/popularity. It makes sense to assume that it helps a bit with your earnings since it means some people found your post useful.

i think many people knew that already i sure did... been here less than a week... but perhaps other mylot users will find it useful ;) i think the +/- thing effects your rating only... perhaps your earnings since it means people found your post useful or not..
