Software testing is a very important of the quality control process for software. You are actually ensuring that the product was made as intended, and thus you are doing your company a great favor. You could say that their fortunes are in your hands... literally.
Happy mylotting!

That's a great job! Software testing keeps the quality of software created. I guess it is not easy though because you will check the software you are testing for all possible scenarios. In my company, it is usually the developer which is stressed because of the testing. :)
In my job, it is more than software testing. Software testing is a vital part of the software cycle. Before using the codes we write, senior developers check our codes. They look for any code smells and codes that can still be improved in terms of performance. We are always reminded to refactor and redesign undesirable codes. They also make sure that our codes will be readable to other programmer that might modify it later on.
In the end, it is the quality of software that we want to deliver to the client.

Thats a great profession and i like it. I feel like you will always have work to because eveyday there are new softwares being created. I've always wanted to have a job like that but so far it seems as if i'm unable to get one
Ithink the importance of testing a software is obviously to see how well it can perfom and if wether it has some bug or not and if it has a bug you can always report it and they fix that particular bug
Are you doing this online?
