My country is famous for tasty food recipes. We prepare lots of dishes for every meal. Our staple food is rice and our lunch includes rice, a gravy for the rice and yet another side dish too..But I have heard that in many countries, the meals would be so simple - bread for breakfast, french fries for lunch and so on...Is that true? What is the food pattern of your country? What do you eat for your meals?

It is extremely complex in India! The reason is India is so huge and diverse.
So, let me classify it into broadly north and south india
North India :
Morning - Tea, Parathas and a sweet usually
Afternoon - Chapattis, Dal, Indian curry, pickle, curd, papad
Dinner - Chapattis, rice, Dal, Curd, Sweet
South India :
Morning - Dosa / Idly / Upma
Lunch - Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Curd, Pickle, papad, curry
Dinner - Rice or Dosa / Idly

In my country most people eat bread or cereal for breakfast, at lunch it's free to choose what to eat, but standard it's bread. Our staple food for the evening is potatoes, vegetables and meat.
My mother had a weekly food pattern. Monday is meatloaf day etc. I don't like potatoes very much so i hardly eat them with the exception of french fries LOL.
