Do you consider yourself successful now?

I couldn't say yes because I have a lot of things that I want in life that I haven't achieved. Although in some aspects i would say i am successful. This would depend on how one sees what being successful means, for each person views success differently.

I have to agree with you concerning the idea of success: it is all perception. I was angry the other day because I wasn't were I wanted to be and my wife reminded me that not everyone in the world has a Master's degree and I should start there when looking at my success. Not too many people have a stable income either. Success is purely that: where am I and where do I want to go?

That's right. Success is just something that depends on how a person perceives it.

The trick is you never have to compare yourself to someone else, too. I would love to have a huge bady like some of those fighters on tv but they aren't working two jobs and have kids at home! If they tried to do what I do, I would blow them away!

You have a simple way of viewing success but that's right. Success comes when we obtain our purposes in life.

not yet. i am still currently pursuing my college degree as a future special educator..or a teacher! i hope i could become one someday like most of the mylotters here.
