Do you like all kinds of music or one type of music?

If you ask me, I like all kinds of music but if I had to choose one type of music it would be pop. It was the lively beat of change for a whole society. Moreover, one of the leaders of this change was JAY (Zhou Jielun in Chinese). When I listen to his masterful electric piano style, I can hear the energy of my generation. The music has a soul and an appealing sound. It has inspired many people to work for a better life for themselves and for a better society around them. Pop music has sould and has stood the test of time. I was sort of screwed.

I'm sure that my age has a lot to do with my music preferences. I like different kinds of music but not all. It would probably be easier to list what I don't like than what I do. The list would be shorter. I can't stand the hard rock that my son listened to back in the late 1970s. I've had to listen to a lot of country because that is what he preferred. I don't like much of the new country, though. He has recently switched to bluegrass, and I think that is much better. One of my husband's favorite music type that I don't like is the German Oompah style. Neither of us likes regaee. Don't know about the spelling of those last two. Now for the music that I prefer. 1. Old time gospel gets top billing, as that was the primary music of my childhood. Some of this frequently is played on my husband's bluegrass music channel. Thus, bluegrass needs to be included somewhere on my favorites list. 2. Easy listening 3. classical, especially Bach 4. Jazz, especially from the early days 5. Pop music from the 1920s into the mid 1950s.

If you ask me which is the most famous American song in China, I will tell you it must be "Yesterday once more." Almost everyone knows it but some people who live in moutain areas. Also, the most famous American country music in China is " country road, take me home, to the place I belong..." The most famous pop song may be " My heart will go on and on, which is the the Theme song of Titanic." All of them are sort of old and classical. I don't know weather they have been popular in the United states. I guess!

The movie Titanic has become a classic. My granddaughter requested a copy of the movie for Christmas when she was about 10. Take Me Home Country Road has been, I believe John Denver's theme song.

I also love Pop music, particularly from the 80s, my favourite decade and certainly in my eyes the best decade when it comes to good music. I find pop is in my soul and my heart. 95% of my songs on Itunes and certainly in my cd collection is pop, compliations or pop groups. It brings back fond memories, I never get fed up with listening to pop music both at home and at the gym on my Ipod.

It is great. I was born in 1984, so the 80s' things seem to be completely "new" to me. By the way, the Bealtes are so famous that their songs like "Yesterday" are still very popular here.

I like to listen to all kinds of music. It all depends on my mood at the time of listening.

I like all kinds of music. As long as it's a nice song, I don't care which type it is. I love China

I love all kinds.. It all depends on the type of mood that I am in. I love to mix and match. My mood plays a big part in determining in what type of music that I desire to listen to.

Oh, it is reasonable. My mood also plays a vital role in deciding which type of music that I will listen to. Have a great day.

This is a very good discussion because music is a very important part of peoples everyday lives, because it can add color and meaning to places that seem dull, boring and meaningless, especially since music is everywhere, and if you are in a good mood, music can put you in an even better mood, while if you are in a bad mood, music can make things seem not as bad,and make you feel better, which is always a good thing if you ask me,I do not think anyone goes a day without listening to some type of music because music helps the world turn,me and my fiance always listen to the radio when we go out somewhere, and we always have it on one of our local country stations which we have four, and sometimes we have to flip between them to find music, since it seems more and more commercials are sneaking onto the radio stations, and I wish that there was more music during an hour,me and my fiance love country music because it is a type of music we can relate to,and it makes sense, and it is the only music we really ever listen to,unless we are with one of our friends who listens to rock because he does not like country, which sometimes I want to smack him for it,and the only country music I do not like are songs about cheating on someone, songs about breaking up with someone, and songs about getting drunk and doing stupid things because those songs are bad songs, and they should not be on the radio because those are not good things and no one wants to hear songs like that because no one wants those things to happen to them.
