My last job was as a customer service rep. at a wholesale balloon company. I met two great friends there and some of it was fun, but some of it was a living hell. I had been unemployed for almost a year, so I grabbed this job after going to 6 different temp agencies. We received no sick pay, one week vacation after a year and for the first 3 years you were there. People were fired at least once a week! We had do to do work at home, study to be a certified balloon artist, which was a lot of work. I am proud to say I did pass the test and was proud of my work, but you never felt secure in that place. Have you had a job like this?

My first serious job was a summer job as secretary/receptionist in a Tuberculosis Sanitariam. I learned a lot in the three months I was there. After two years of Junior College I joined the Foreign Service. In a 25-year career I worked in Mexico City, Monterry, Barcelona, Ecuador, Colombia and Vietnam. I also had TDY tours in the Dominican Republic during the Revolution of 1965, and in Bolivia. During this time I worked as a secretary, an administrative assistant and a political analyst. Other than that I can't think of anything interesting.

I have had several jobs, but the funnest and craziest one was when i worked in a Karaoke bar. the owner made me sing, while i was slinging drinks. The people would give me money to sing different songs for them. Made a bunch of cash. Stopped when i got pregnant.

I have had some very interesting jobs although I have now been a SAHM for 10 years now!!! I have worked for a Defense Contractor for the Government, A Traveling Nurse Agency, A CPA, 3 Lawyers as well as many other positions too!!! I guess you could say that when I had a job I would suck up all the information and learn all that was possible and then would end up being bored so would then switch jobs!!! But I have to say that I definitely gained a lot of helpful information along the way!!!!

If we're going for interesting jobs... I used to edit horoscopes for a large astrology company. The way they'd be changed to format into a telepromptor, made them NOTHING like how they started out! It was really funny. I can't believe anyone could believe in that stuff after working there. It's all fake. So funny though. I'd have fun sometimes and throw in a few extra edits when I couldn't read their writing! What sucks is though, you'd sometimes get work at the last minute. Once I worked all night for some show at 8am... but then, at 7am they call me with more work to do. I told them I quit and I never got my last $50.
But losing $50 wasn't bad. I used to be a pet photographer and that company still owes me $1,600! Don't go to Petco for your Christmas pet photos.

I worked at the Venetian Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. I worked the front lines there... customer service type of work. You meet ALL kinds of people there! It's a stressful job! I am so done with the casino business!
