I was fourteen or fifteen. My girlfriend had the idea of working at the fair and I followed along. She got a job but there wasn't one for me. I started bringing the folks working in the joints food and drink and getting tips for it. I did pretty well, was in the face of the bosses, and soon had myself a job in one of the joints.

I started earning money very early on. I think I was about 9 or 10. I would help my dad fo things to earn money. I was always looking for ways to earn money. I'd mow a lawn or rake the neighbor's leaves, set up a lemonade stand, whatever I could do. I think this was all great preparation for adult life because that motivation has stuck with me to this day and I'm still motivated to earn money any way I can. Anyone need their leaves raked??? :):)

I had my first job when i was 16, i worked as a sales girl for 1 month during my holidays. I remember my earnings was 3.20 Malaysia Ringgit per hour, it was considered ok for me at that time. I had great time during my working time, and also explored my eyesight. :-) There were really many different kinds of customers that i had never thought of. The supervisor treated us quite nice, she bought us the egg tarts that i love very much on my last working day. :-)

I did my first part-time job when I was 18 years old . But I just did it for a month . Certainly it is just a little money , but it is really a significative experience .
