My landlord knocked on my door about nine this morning. Previously he was out in the yard blowing leaves. There are three big trees back there and the leaves were out of control, plus a tree had fallen a couple of weeks ago.
He is having problems with his back and wanted to know if my husband would bag the leaves for him. I volunteered to help. It was fun, but also back breaking We bagged up about 10 large bags. I just looked at the yard and the leaves are already covering it again.
How many bags of leaves have you recently done?

Where we live we don't worry about raking leaves. There are so many trees around us that if we did try to rake them all it would just be pointless in that more would fall. Besides it adds an extra beauty to the yard. In any case, I hope your back gets to feeling buter!

Yes, it is really beautiful to see all of the different colored leaves.
What happens to the leaves in the summer when the grass starts to grow? Do you get rid of them then?

I enjoy raking leaves but I hate to bag them. Fortunately our city comes along and sucks them up every other week. All we have to do is rake them down to the curb. I always do the front yard because it is on a hill and they go down real easy. My husband on the other had has to do the back yard which is fenced in and the go goes back there so you have to be careful what you rake or where you step!
I wanted to go out today and finish but it has been raining all day so I hope we have a nice day in the next week to finish. Our whole tree lawn is covered with a huge pile so we have raked alot.

We can not pile them on the street, because I live on a very narrow street that has a bus route, and a lot of trucks pass through, there would be no room for the traffic if the leaves were on the curb, of course it would be an easier task to get rid of them.
