My Cat Sings

I have the strangest cat! He "sings"! We live in a house that has tile floors and high ceilings - makes for great acoustics. He sits on a specific chair and sings - anytime of the day or night. At first I thought that this was his way of requesting to be let outside, but no - he just sits there and makes the strangest sounds. Not a meow, almost like a gargle/yoldel mix. It is so funny to listen to, I should record this for YouTube.
Ok, at 3 am it's not so funny.
Anyone else have a cat that sings?

Cats are really funny little critters. You neve know what they are going to do.
I love my little kitty. It is very nice to have a cat.

I love cats. We have 3. Two indoor and one in & outdoor. But after these guys, I'm done! The singer also likes to read the paper with me in the morning. He just sprawls out all over it.

A cat I had back when I was single, used to talk to me. When I got home from work, she'd be waiting at the door and we would come in and talk about our day. I swear she was answering me, co-miserating, asking questions. We could go on for hours. I never wished for a roommate!

That's amazing.I have never seen a cat that sings.But I had a dog that dance in tune with the songI sing.That was a wonderful sight.Even my neighbours would look curiously at the dancing dog.His looks are very cute.Whenever I go near him he will get ready as if a concert is going to start.He will sit straight wagging his tail vigorously.

LOL That is too funny. My dog sings but not my cat. My dog will go into this "singing" mode anytime someone whistles or even imitates to start singing he'll jump right up and start this howling singing type routine! Animals are hilarious!

My grandmother had a chiuaha (I know I did NOT spell that right!), that would sing with her when she played the organ. Especially when she used the "bells", it was so funny! I wish I still had the cassette tapes of that. That was long before we owned video cameras!

Yes you have a strange cat,may be other cats also sing but no one has observe that.
