What are you most excited about when Obama takes office?

I was just curious to here some people's responses. I personally am not a big fan of Obama but I know a lot of people are excited about this presidency and I would like to know what you are looking forward to the most? What are you hoping to see done early on in the term? What's the most exciting aspect of the Obama presidency to YOU?

Considering everything you have just told me, it does sound like an inside job. It also sounds like they are trying to get you to leave. We used to live in a free country. We lose are freedom more and more everyday. Our freedom to express ourselves. That is such a shame.

I know many people are anticipating him doing something that will help the economy. I personally don't believe anything the government would do will keep us from a depression. I believe we'll have to "hit bottom" before things start going the other direction - the question is where bottom actually is!
I would hope to see him become more realistic about the immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq - too much haste in such a situation could result in the loss of even more lives of both our military forces and of those in the private sector working in Iraq.
I would like to see some quick progress towards affordable healthcare, whether through an insurance program or however this could be made possible. I don't know that Universal Healthcare is the answer, but also don't know what would work.

Kennyrose, there's the one that I know...I read the post above and thought did someone kidnap kenny and torturing into to saying this? LOL. In seriousness I am sorry that someone is doing this here on mylot. Hopefully this is fixed quickly. Its a shame that we can't agree to disagree. We are all entitled to our opinions and should respect that.

I would be excited to find out which promises he is actually going to keep. I hope he does well, but I'm steeling myself for the long haul.
