1. Don't eat regularly.
2. Don't take a dump regularly.
3. Don't sleep regularly.
4. Find a hobby that can distract you from eating.

The best advice I can give you is to never utter the word diet again. Get it into your mind that ou are just changing how you eat. And do it slowly. Because if you go full force into diet mode and chagne everything you will most likely end up ditching the diet and then gaining more weight.
Read a lot of health books...again not DIET books. Find books on diabetics and heart health...these are very useful. When my mother who is a diabetic had a heart attack she knew she had to change how she ate and what she cooked with...well I did too as I read along with her. I have lost and kept off over 30 pounds for the last 7 years. Like I said it was a gradual change so it took time, but actually it is halthier to lose weight gradually.
Some quick tips. If you have to use butter when cooking switch to the no-salt butter. You can always add a little salt later if you need it. Stop using cooking oils and use either the canola sprays or extra vrigin olive oil. I like using I can't believe it's not butter for my spread. ALso i use sugar substitute and low fat creamer in my coffee. I drink only diet sodas and tea and mainly juices when i am at home. Although everyone will tell you to drink water...you should I have a problem with this.
Switch your pastas to whole wheat and eat whole wheat breads. You have to read the label to make sure you are getting actual whole wheat bread. If it has the words enriched or white flour in it...it's not whole wheat. Also read the labels for sodium content. This is salt plain and simple and this will make you retain water...which is added pounds right?
Get moving. I just started walking 30 minutes three times a week to up my exercise...well not only is helping me keep off the weight, but it gives me energy and I sort through issues while walking and I always end up cleaning the house as soon as I get in from the walk...even more calories burnt.
Check out Health and wellness club. They have a website that might be helpful. Also, I liked reading the American Heart Association cookbooks. They make sure you still eat what you want just a little different.
You can do this. I remember thinking when someone said that to me that they were full of it. But it's true. I used to try and lose weight because I wanted to fit in, etc. I always failed. But when it was for my mother and her heart and also for my own heart....guess what. It worked and is continuing to work.
Good luck and if you need anymore advice hit me up.

If you are serious about losing weight
and if you're on for a little sacrifice,
on food of course, then you can try this trick:
DO NOT EAT ANYTHING 8 HOURS BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP
That means if you usually go to sleep at 10pm, then you
should not let somethings pass between your lips
starting 2pm. And if you sleep for about 6 hours plus 8,
then you have 14 hours of fasting everyday.
The good news is you can eat anything when you wake up.
Diet is a thing of the past.
Hope it helps...

The key to weight loss is changing your eating habits, and to do litle things each day like a couple extra loads of laundry a day if you need to go up and down stairs to do your laundry.
One thing that has been helping me to lose weight is to drink 16 oz of water 30 minutes before a meal...it helps fill up your stomach without the added calories, resulting in weight loss. Also do not consume soda. Soda is EVIL when you are trying to lose weight. not only does it have fructose, but it also contains sodium....both of whih wil make your weight stay on.
Stay active. You want to burn more calories than you consume each day. Which is harder than i sounds!!!I was reading that if you consume proteins and foods high in B vitamins it will help you lose weight because they harder for your body to breakdown.
I hope these couple of suggestions help.
