US President Obama's Computer In White House Is Hacked By Chineese Hackers

I don't want to be picky, but Obama isn't officially president yet, and he's not in the white house. So it would be Bush's computer. And I doubt that got hacked. You can bet that's on a private line. Probably hacked some staff members computer.

We need to be cautious of any kind of hackers, or people who are putting forth a fraud or scam. I do not believe it is just Chinese hackers but many nations that might try to do that. We need to protect our identities and our passwords, etc.

I am not sure how or where this story came about but it cannot be accurate in any way. For a start Barack Obama is only President elect and will not be President until mid-January so he is not in the White House at all at this time. If any computer was hacked it would be that of President Bush and to be quitre frank I do not think that would have happened. It would have all sorts of protective alarms and whistles (so to speak) that it would simply not happen. I think we can all be fairly certain that anything that is on the computers at the White House and in particular the one used by the President, if in fact he actually uses a compter, is well protected from hackers. For that we can all be very thankful I would say. Your intention is no doubt very good to warn people but I believe the report is inaccurate and whoever reported it is trying to cause trouble.

This is really surprising. The term security seems to be no more as powerful as before. Technology increase is decreasing the the value of the term security.

I wonder what they got off the computer and what they did with the stuff they got. Of course there is very sensitive material and probably embaressing materialas well. If they got anything in particular it has not hit the news yet. I am sure there is a big demand around the world for any such materials. You would think that the security system would not only stop hackers but also alert security personel when a intrusion is occuring so they could stop it, even if it ment shuting down the system, before the hackers actually got in and stole materials. You would also think that the upper levels of government woud have the best computer security in the world especially knowing they are going to be a target.
