how many people think that it is safe to drive alone traveling a far distance

I am 29 yrs old and I travel alot by myself. I don't like to go alone because now a days it is not safe. Granted I know that the whole entire universe is not made up of crazy people but unfortunately there are the crazy ones out there that do stupid things.

I think the previous post is right on, because if you do all that and push on, you can never look back and say, well I shoulda gone... I think you can't let the news freak you out, the majority of people are good it's just the bad ones that are newsworthy. Yeah, I know what you mean. It seems like everyday you hear more and more bad things happening. I don't really enjoy traveling alone myself but sometimes you have to do it. Just try to be as careful as you can. Check your surroundings, always carry your cell, keep your doors locked, carry some kind of protection with you if you have to. And saying alittle prayer before you go never hurt either. Good luck!
