I was on a diet last year during these months. I was successfully able to enjoy some treats and still lose weight at the same time. This year I will be careful with planning my menu in order to avoid the typical holiday weight gain. I check out a lot of recipes which use low fat items or substitutions in order to make great holiday dishes with a lot fewer calories. After all my hard work, I don't want to gain back any of the weight I lost. Hope you have a wonderful holiday!

I don't really like a lot of the holiday food, so holidays don't hit me too bad. The main thing that's getting me right now is that I can't swim in this cold weather and I am not being successful with other attempts at exercising. I still have 6 pounds to go on my weight loss goal. I need to get back to doing something I can enjoy in the cooler weather.
