i do. it seems that the day after a night of drinking, i would forget some things that had happened or some things that have been talked about while me and my friends were drinking.
like last Thursday night. me and my friends went drinking and i drank at least 7 bottles of beer enough for me to get tipsy and a little drunk. the day after, my friend was asking me if i remember something that he had asked me and the others. and i just couldn't remember it! and they were all teasing me about it. no one would tell me what it is. ..

They do say that heavy drinking does kill your brain cells.
And like with smoking...
Some people get more affected by it than some others.
I can get drunk and still remember everything. lol
But I rarely get drunk these days.
I have a few drinks everyday... but rarely get drunk.

I never experienced having 'amnesia' after a bout of drinking. I can't even remember suffering from hang over. But I love to get tipsy and drunk once in a while. I just feel so free and have no inhibitions that I just laugh and laugh and say what is on my mind. In a way i find it liberating.

I have the exact opposite problem, although I have only been drunk once in my entire life lol. I remember everything that I have done while I was drunk that one time, but I was doing very stupid things. I gave my girlfriend a lap dance, and I was about to go fight for another friend because I was told that she was about to get shot. What was my weapon of choice? A metal rod!!! I guess I was gonna bat the bullets away, huh?
After that experience, I have never gotten drunk again. I still drink, but I only drink to the point where I get a good buzz, and no more. I don't like the feeling of not being in control. And remembering what I did doesn't make it any better.

Luckily no, lol. But worst is, I remember everything that happens and feels ashamed most of the times. Because of what I said and done hilarious.

Unfortunately, I do weird things and talk about odd things when I'm drunk. To make it more unfortunate would be being able to recall everything.. (-_-")
It would be nice if I would just forget about the things I've done or talked about the following day but, I still recall them.. I don't know, my mind gets lucid compared to taking exams which I should be having while I study before hand..
Though not suffering selective amnesia, I become numb when I'm drunk so pain wouldn't be an issue if ever I do weird things that would probably hurt if I'm sobber.
Whenever I recall my drunk acts, I'd just ask myself 'why?' and try to lighten up by thinking that I was drunk that time.. but, why can I still recall them clearly if I am drunk compared to others that can't even remember anything when they do get drunk..?

Nope, because I care too much for myself to use stimulants or depressants or any other mood altering substances. I don't want to count how many bottles or shots or pills, you know, and have to keep track of the time and my stats, so I don't drink the first one, and therefore there will be no second, and not being impaired, nobody can take advantage of me. Is having an artificial good time really worth the chance of ruining your whole life in a heartbeat?
Isn't there some other way to have a good time. I think there is.

I'm not surprised if you have an amnesia after a night of drinking. It happens to lots of people though it never happened to me. I do remember perfectly every event that happened the night were drinking. I have a friend who doesn't remember some event that took place when she's drinking. LOL. She's totally drunk and slept on the table. We have to bring her home and were afraid to see her parents so we just stand in their gate and see her walked in their front door.

Yeah, i'm the same too ^_^ When i'm drunk, i will not be able to remember the things that i do, as well as the converstaion that i have with my frenz.. All i remember is the process of drinking and getting home.. haha ^_^
UNlike u, when i'm drunk, i will be sure to do alot of stupid things, and especially when i'm sad or angry.. hehe ^_^ Though those things dun hurt me directly, but still if i get caught, it will be very serious.. lol =D
Thus, in the end, i decided to quit drinking, and now i no longer drink ^_^

I have on occassion, drank way too much and parts of the evening before are blank.
I don't like this feeling so I don't drink that much anymore. But, boy, when I was
younger I loved to party and I did it a lot and lost those moments, the ones I don't
remember because I was too drunk.
Now that I am older I don't drink very much or very often and haven't been drunk for
about the last 10 years. I also always had the most horriblist hangovers. I sometimes
would be sick for two days with one.
Now that I am older, I am a little smarter. hehe
Alrighty then, talk to you later,
Your friend, Chris

Oh gosh, I hate it when that happens!
But, the thing is, I don't feel drunk at the time I'm drinking, I only realise how drunk I was when I wake up the next morning with a banging headache not being able to remember what on Earth happened the night before!
It's happened so many times, because I just don't feel drunk at the time, it's crazy!

hi, secretbear.
i do not drink that much anymore so i do not get drunk anymore. a little tipsy, yes, but not drunk. furthermore, when drinking, and i see somebody else drunk, i sober up pretty fast. i do not know why i am like that but i find it helpful anyway. LOL! so when i am out with friends, they can rely on me when it comes to checking the bill and driving them home.
some years ago, my friends and i had some "tequila nights" but we stopped having those because tequila gives me amnesia! LOL! they do not like seeing me drunk, anyway, because they do not have anyone to take care of them anymore when they get drunk.
yeah. tsk. nice friends huh? LOL!
have a nice day!

Hmmm.. Good thing I don't drink. hehe! A little bit OT but I just feel so curious why do people drink? I mean, the taste is so bad! They get drunk for what?! I don't really get it. Same thing with smoke, they get addicted to smoke for what?! To have a bad breath and really smell bad.

I experienced being drunk in the past... i think it was twice... but i would always remember that particular night... in those two situations... something not good happened...
The first one being able to sleep in a room full of mosquitos... so when i woke up... my hands and face was full of bites... i was wearing a jacket... so that was a good thing...
The second one was the worst... and form then on... i decided never to get drunk again... a person who i thought was my friend took advantage of me... but i wasn't that drunk to just let him do it... the following day... i punched him in the face and never talked to him again...

Well I'd say that you were pretty drunk if you don't remember what you did the day after. I don't drink myself, so thats never happened to me.
