Another Yahoo FAKE email advisory

I could not understand why a lot of people are wasting their time and resources trying to scam people. Hey, we are not that stupid, you know. Here is another fake Yahoo advisory email. "Dear Valued Member, Account Alert Dear Valued Member, Due to the congestion in all Yahoo users and removal of all unused Yahoo Accounts,Yahoo would be shutting down all unused Accounts,You will have to confirm your E-mail by filling out your Log in Info below after clicking the reply bottom, or your account will be suspended within 24 hours for security reasons. User Name:.................. Password:............................ Date of Birth:....................... Country Or Territory:..................... After following the instructions in the sheet, your account will not be interrupted and will continue as normal. Thanks for your attention to this request. We apologize for any inconvenience. Warning!!! Account owner that refuses to update his or her account before two weeks of receiving this warning will lose his or her account permanently. YAHOO!MAIL."

I wonder if Yahoo knows about this email thats being sent out by someone. You may want to forward it to them and they can tell you if its a scam or not. Surely other people are getting it too, and maybe someone has informed them and they will take care of it.

There are people that are that stupid. No matter how often you tell them, they'll fall for those things. Well, maybe not stupid but naive. When my mom is here, she'll come to me and say there's a window that tells her the computer has a virus. Every time, I patiently explain to her that it's a scam to scare her into buying their software. At home, she has to call a computer guy at least twice a year to clean her computer of viruses, adware, spyware and the like because she believe that if it pops up on her computer, it must be legitimate. And scammers use the words that they know will scare people, especially old ones or inexperienced pc users. So, I think it's the fear thing. In cases like fake lotteries, it's just plain greed.
