What kind of religious people are these?
Israeli police rushed into one of Christianity's holiest churches Sunday and arrested two clergymen after an argument between monks erupted into a brawl next to the site of Jesus' tomb.
The clash broke out between Armenian and Greek Orthodox monks in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, revered as the site of Jesus' crucifixion, burial and resurrection.

Why is it that I am not surprised that there is fighting in the Holy Land.
It is a pity that it was a brawl between two monks of different ethnic backgrounds
and different religious traditions...
But it should be mentioned that the core of this dispute was not really their religious tradition...
It was, in fact a male dominance and fear thing.
It was motivated by fear, fear that if one man was allowed to march then that group represented by that man would suddenly have more power and assume that it was okay and that he would by marching pave the way for others to do so too and change things from the accepted way of doing things in that area.
That man who marched was challenging the accepted order of things and tradition, and the accepted order of things and tradition are what keeps the unsteady peace there between so many people from different backgrounds, traditions, and religions.
I wonder why the labeling of those who are monks is harsher than that of the other people in the community...
Is it because people believe that monks are somehow free of their personalities, their human frailties, their fears and other feelings? They do their best to serve their communities but are still people just like everyone else.
Why is it that we place them on a pedistal and then get angry at them when they cannot measure up to our expectations? Perhaps that is something for another discussion.
It is a shame that they resorted to physical violence instead of dialogue...
This makes me think that they did not have good communication skills and this is a pity.

That's just shameful that they would fight in a place like that. It would be like fighting in church here in the US, you just don't do it. Whatever your differences, you leave them outside.

I don't think that Jesus is pleased with the two clergy's behaviour. They have acted foolishly more than two year olds kids fighting over a candy. I do expect much better from men of God. Christians should seek what unites them together and not vice versa.

I think Jesus did not guide the people who elected those fighting ones as monks..

This kind of activity is what turns many believers away from G♥d and keeps unbelievers from believing...It is unfortunate, that they would behave like that and I hope they realize their mistake.

My first reaction is "how do they even know it's Jesus' tomb?". It doesn't matter though, whether or not it's his tomb. It's disorderly conduct, and disrespectful behaviour on part of all participants in the brawl.

Sad ain't it? I mean they should have contained their anger.. and of all places. I guess they should be sorry for what they did and make amends.
