Do you ever eat out at restaurants alone?

I do frequently. Mostly it's when I'm at lunch from work. None of my coworker friends have lunch at the same time as me. If I crave Mexican food I will go eat Mexican food whatever the case may be. Sometimes even on my day off. I prefer to eat with my boyfriend but if he is busy I have no qualms about eating out alone. DO people look at me funny when they ask if theres only 1? Yes. Do I care no. Lol.

Oh, yeah, I sometimes eat out alone. Most of the time when I invite someone, I feel like I have to pay for his fees*, specifically if we don't go out together often. It's like I imagine him saying, "You got me here, so why do I have to pay for it?" :'p It's a bit funny.
And people looking at you funny when you eat out alone? That's funny. Why would it be weird? (I don't know. This is the Philippines... but, probably in some cities here, it's weird eating alone.) But, when I was in high school, eating out alone felt awkward. It's one of the things that we could get used to. It's not inappropriate anyway.
Also, oftentimes I watch in the cinema alone. It's fine. Uh, more popcorn for me :'p
I rarely eat out, however because my work is home-based.
______
(*That's how a lot of things here in the Philippines go. For example, if I get into a jeepney with a friend or even just an acquaintance, we feel compelled to pay the other's fare.)

Thanks for responding. May I ask what is a jeepney? Maybe like a taxi?

Oh, sorry I assumed we were THAT popular. I was hoping, at least heh :'p
'cos jeepneys are public transportations and landmark vehicles of the Philippines. They're similar to taxis in that they're public transports too, but they look very different.
They were improvised G.I. Jeeps from the U.S. :')
We were occupied by the U.S. for a time before and after the 2nd World War. They left their jeeps someplace and people took them and used them for business. From the five(?)-seater original, it has now greatly expanded to accommodate up to 20 or more passengers.
Most of them are really colorful ='D
You may see some of them here:

I usualy eat at fast foods with my friend because the food is cheaper and is more confortable and fast . I know fast food , junk food is not very healthy , but with a small amount of money you can eat more then you can eat at a fancy restaurant .
It was once when i eat alone , it should be my girlfriend there , but it didn;t show , and i already order the food. At that moment i though that all people look funny at me , and i felt weird .
Was the most embarrassing moment of my life
