About "Kaaba a Hindu Temple" -and- "Origin of 786"

I have checked some discussions about 786 in myLot and found different opinions..
Some muslims from Egypt dont know importance of 786, But its sacred for muslims of Asia..
Some tell its lucky number and some tell it means "Bismillah"
So I searched in the net and found this page:

It says:
1) Kaaba a Hindu temple.
2) 786 Derived from "Om" (a character in Sanskrit (devanagari script), a Hindu Symbol"
Please check these and tell the truth..

You are completely and 100% wrong. Islam came to prohibit people from worshipping idols and false believe which are all in hinduisms. If you think we worship kaba then you are very very wrong. We have kaba as a direction and we dont not worship it, we worship Allah one and only. Kaba is not a temple.
As for number 786, it has nothing to do in islam, Bismillah or anything else can be encoded by different systems(i can invent one too). and it has no real meaning.

I too know that Islam has prohibition for Idol worship.. But Many Muslims worship in Dargas.. Is it right? You said that I am completely wrong.. Dear Brother, I have asked whether its true or not and wanted some explanation..
Did you read that page or just commented here?
I have another opinion too.. To make Idols which are good and appealing needs the skill of sculpturing.. And I feel that such art was not present among the Arabs during that time.. So they might have prohibited.. Its better to have no Idols rather than accepting that we do not know to make idols.. ???? Just an opinion..
Now coming to the things mentioned on that site.. Presence of Sanskrit text, Exact translations of few things from Indian texts.. What you tell about these things..
It might have been a temple and later made into Kaba..?
You worship Allah one and only.. Allah means nothing but Arabic word for Almighty.. Its not a different entity.. And the page of which the Link is provided has some explanation about how the word "Allah" originated from Sanskrit..
You said that 786 is nothing to do with Islam.. But you read that page.. It says that all the Quran copies contain it.. I dont know about other regions, I too have seen it with my friend..

Dear systems, thanks for giving a wonderful answer to ishaq173, as mentioned by you Indians (Hindus) were a highly civilized race in the olden days and our economy was booming, and the Kingdoms in India were considered to be rich not only in money, but also in performing arts among other things, it is only after the Muslim Invasion, that we lost our freedom, and started following the masters of the day, anyhow this may not be relevent to your topic, but I felt others must also know about the greatness of Hinduism.

I just went through the links, and I find it amazing, if this can be proved, the whole world order, might change. I wonder why our Indian Historians are not going into this, finally yes in Tamilnadu there are Kabalieswaran koils (Temples), and there is a very important and famous Kabalieswarar temple in Chennai. Well it makes sense, I do not know the meaning of Kabali, but easwaran as everybody knows is another name for Shiva.

Hi All;
I didn't went through the site not becuase I don't need to do it, but becuase I'll mentione below sevarl fact about KAABA then you can use your brain and logic to evalauated:
1- Kaaba was constructed by Prophit Abraham and his son Prophit Ismaeal had settled in Arabia.
2- So if we need to refer to the age of Hindu relegion it won't be before Abraham and if was exiting that is mean KAABA is not Hindu Temple.
3- Refere to the Age of KAABA and history then you will discover by your self that website is used for delusion
4- Allah was instructed Prophit Abrahim to build the Kaaba along with his son
5- Before Islam Kaaba was worship by non-muslims by that time also Kaaba since long ages was targeted to detroyed from Abyssinia, go back to history and read about the Elephant BAttle. In Quraan there is one Sora called (Al Feel) which decibed what was happened.
6- In the later years on guy from Abyssinia will come and will destroy the KAABA.

not only this 786 means om,om means more than 10000 meanings and one of it is god and one is "u" just like the meaning of the word "thathvamasi"{any dnt knw plz post it and i will giv meaning}
this denotes that hindus belived that god the almighty is u urselves.the inner u ar the atma is the god and other all are just nothing

as far as i know it was a pagan place and even got Allah was worshiped by pagan people.
Hinduism has lot of stuff similar to other Pagan religion but every pagan religion isnt hindu.So no it wasnt a hindu place.Look on map for Hindukush ranges.It was ancient boundary of Hinduism.
