How Long Did it Take You to Reach the Minimum Payout for myLot?

It seems to have take me about 6 weeks to get to the minimum payout here. I suspect that will be the norm for me. I was trying to make it in a month but I think my posts are too long. You will not make a lot of money here but I exchange ideas on other sites for nothing so I guess you might as well get paid, however miserly. I will not make even $100 in a year but it is still more than I would have had were I not posting on myLot. If you wish to increase your earnings I am told you should try to make at least 4 lines in your posts, not sure how true that is. I am going to try to post a few picture in the future as you are supposed to be paid for those too.

This isn't really a place to get rich. It took me three weeks to get to 10 bucks, then I got 15 dollars my first month. So I guess it depends on exactly what you're looking to earn.

I generally reach minimum payout within the first 7 - 10 days of the month. A good balance of posting a discussion a day or so and quality responses combined usually means I will achieve this timeframe regularly. I am a firm believer that quantity is NOT the answer to consistent earnings and an effort to post quality responses of five or more lines coupled with making every effort to ensure ongoing interaction in your own discussion by replying to every response etc; will better your chances. People make the mistake of thinking that the more they post in terms of numbers, then the more they will earn. But they end up posting one or two lines over and over again and it is just not optimal.

It usually takes me a month and a half to reach payout. I can never reach payout in a month in time for the cutoff. I work full time so my time on the internet is limited. I try to post as many as I can in one day. Sometimes I earn well, sometimes, just a little and sometimes as low as a centavo. Once I reached my first payout, it was easier to work for the next. Just continue and don't be discouraged. It will be easier when you get your first payout. They pay quite fast too!

It took me quite a while, almost 2 months. Doesn't look like I'll reach payout this month either. But don't be discouraged, I know that a lot of people here reach it real fast. It just depends on how much time you spend on here, but it's not just the quantity that counts, the quality of your posts also factor in. I love mylot! so stay awhile before you judge it. It's a really great and fun place.
