For Catholics--novenas?

Do any of you Catholics have some tried and true novenas that have never failed you? I would love to hear some inspiring stories and learn some new novenas.
My favorite (which has worked wonders for me) is the Novena to St. Theresa. I'm not sure if it is a TRUE novena because of the fact that it is only said for 5 days not 9.

I have never tried to do a novena... maybe because i have never seen my parents do one... but i think i should at least try one of these days... i have friends who does different kinds of novenas... but i never bothered to ask if their wish ever came true... but i guess it did because they kept on doing the novenas...
