I'm a spaghetti lover since I was a child. But now I want to cook my own spaghetti but the problem is I don't know how to cook spaghetti especially cooking the pasta. Can somebody give me some tips and process on cooking pasta and spaghetti sauce.

Step 1-Boil water
Step 2-Put some oil in
Step 3-Put pasta in
Step 4-Do wall test, throw spaghetti against the wall. If it sticks, it is done!

Boil the water in a pan, add a sprinkle of salt to the water. When it starts boiling, add the noodles, let them boil for ten minutes, then drain the water off. Open the jar of sauce and pour it on top.

Spaghetti is so easy to make. We make our own sauce from scratch at home because it tastes so much better than the stuff in the jar. To cook the pasta, fill a pot with water and put a little salt in it. Bring the water to a boil and add the pasta. Lower the heat, but not too much. You want the water to continue boiling. Cook the pasta for about 8 to 10 minutes. You want to test it and make sure that it's cooked through, but isn't overdone. It should be tender, but not too soft. If you want to try making your own pasta sauce, brown a pound of ground beef along with a chopped up onion and some chopped garlic. When the meat is brown, add 2 large cans of tomato sauce and 2 15 oz cans of tomato paste. Add about a cup of sugar (the tomato paste makes it bitter, so the sugar is to cut the bitter taste). Add some basil, oregano, and parsley. We also put 2 bay leaves in as well (a Southern thing). You remove the bay leaves after it's finished cooking. Let it simmer for about 30 to 45 minutes.

HOw come you did not learn to cook spaghetti and its your favorite. Very ironic. There are so many spagetti sauces in the supermarket and you just have to adjust the taste when you saute garlic, onins and ground beef or chicken or turkey or slice ham or peperoni or canned meat. As for the pasta, you cook the pasta in boiling water put a little salt and oil. YOu can cook your noodles al dente or well cooked.
