How to create quality discussions or quality responses?

In my opinion, always start a discussion from your own experience and interest. This will make a quality discussion. About response, study the main discussion very well and you may study some responses if any and then make your own response. Don't copy anyone, if you want your quality response! Make your response focused around the main discussion and very topical. Finally don't forget to say thanks to the discussion starter. Thanks for this nice topic and happy mylotting!

I agree with what was said about building up a friend list and supporting each other. Looking closely at quality posts you will notice that topic choice can have a lot to do with things. If you have a passion and a good knowledge base for the topic then your post is likely to be of good quality. Perhaps you think that you are lacking the vocabulary to write a good post, it doesn't hurt to use a thesaurus to change a few of the words if you find yourself using the same word to much in a post. That said your posts need to be understandable for their target audience or they could shy away from them (not sure that applies to our current setting as our users exhibit many different styles of writing and choice of topic) and enthusiasm goes a long way.

why u not try to make discussions that related with your hobbies and activities, im hope it'll help u to make good discussions.
